About Garvin Arinaitwe
Atuhaire Gavin, born 4th in a family of seven (7) siblings, graduated from primary level in 2000. Unfortunately, his parents couldn’t afford tuition for his higher education. Through his self-taught artistic gifts and talents, Gavin started painting murals on the streets, staging acrobatic dance shows on the roads and in schools to earn a living. This enabled him to pay his tuition in pursuit of higher education. After graduating, his creative arts have been his source of income in Uganda, Africa, and overseas. In 2008, Gavin primarily started community gatherings for young people that shared the same or similar life experiences. It was mainly to encourage and develop skills and help them network towards a better future regardless of unforeseen hardships. This birthed the “Kyuka Youth Outreach” that was active between 2008 to 2016 and then later rebranded to the current Kyuka Ministries Inc., with bigger visions and better direction.
